Mixed spline function method for reaction-subdiffusion equations

چکیده
In this paper, we develop two classes of finite difference schemes for the reaction– subdiffusion equations by using a mixed spline function in space direction, forward and backward difference in time direction, respectively. It has been shown that some of the previous known difference schemes can be derived from our schemes if we suitably choose the spline parameters. By Fourier method, we prove that one class of difference scheme is unconditionally stable and convergent, the other is conditionally stable and convergent. Finally, some numerical results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed difference schemes. 2013 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

Non-polynomial Spline Method for Solving Coupled Burgers Equations
In this paper, non-polynomial spline method for solving Coupled Burgers Equations are presented. We take a new spline function. The stability analysis using Von-Neumann technique shows the scheme is unconditionally stable. To test accuracy the error norms 2L, L are computed and give two examples to illustrate the sufficiency of the method for solving such nonlinear partial differential equation...
متن کاملSolving a nonlinear inverse system of Burgers equations
By applying finite difference formula to time discretization and the cubic B-splines for spatial variable, a numerical method for solving the inverse system of Burgers equations is presented. Also, the convergence analysis and stability for this problem are investigated and the order of convergence is obtained. By using two test problems, the accuracy of presented method is verified. Additional...

In this paper, we use the collocation method for to find an approximate solution of the problem by cubic B-spline basis. The proposed method as a basic function led matrix systems, including band matrices and smoothness and capability to handle low calculative costly. The absolute errors in the solution are compared to existing methods to verify the accuracy and convergent nature of propo...
متن کاملA Third-degree B-spline Collocation Scheme for Solving a Class of the Nonlinear Lane–-Emden Type Equations
In this paper, we use a numerical method involving collocation method with third B-splines as basis functions for solving a class of singular initial value problems (IVPs) of Lane--Emden type equation. The original differential equation is modified at the point of singularity. The modified problem is then treated by using B-spline approximation. In the case of non-linear problems, we first line...

Nowadays, options are common financial derivatives. For this reason, by increase of applications for these financial derivatives, the problem of options pricing is one of the most important economic issues. With the development of stochastic models, the need for randomly computational methods caused the generation of a new field called financial engineering. In the financial engineering the pre...
